Log in or create your free ClearanceJobs profileJob DescriptionPosition ResponsibilitiesConduct all-source intelligence analysis on basic, emerging, disruptive, and breakthrough technologies with potential military or dual-use applications.Assess foreign state and non-state actor capabilities that may threaten USMC systems, defense infrastructure, or supply chains.Produce forward-looking intelligence assessments on advanced technologies up to Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6 and evaluate their impact on USMC operational forces and Force Design 2030.Analyze global advancements in leading-edge technologies and project their discovery, development, and deployment timelines.Deliver original, authoritative intelligence products independently and in collaboration with Service Intelligence Centers and STIC working groups.Evaluate risks associated with the transfer, diversion, or foreign involvement in U.S. defense and dual-use technologies.Support national-level intelligence production, including contributions to threat capability assessments and Intelligence Community baseline assessments.Identify vulnerabilities within defense industrial base and supply chains and assess associated national security implications.Produce intelligence assessing impacts to Defense Critical Infrastructure and U.S. nuclear enterprise.Quantum Information Science (QIS) Focus:Conduct all-source analysis of global and adversary developments in:Quantum ComputingQuantum CommunicationQuantum SensingAssess military applications and operational implications of quantum technologies on U.S. and adversary capabilitiesRequired QualificationsExperience in all-source intelligence analysis within scientific, technical, or defense domains.Strong understanding of emerging technologies and their military applications.Familiarity with intelligence production processes supporting national and defense communities.Ability to produce clear, concise, and actionable intelligence assessments.Experience with Quantum Information Science or advanced physics-related domains preferred.
