This is a hybrid work opportunity. This position captures legacyrequirements across the weapons systems, maps them to current requirements, and leads thedevelopment of future requirements within the Integrated Tactical Warning and AttackAssessment (ITW/AA) Lead Program Office (LPO). This position requires the ability to map fromcapstone documents (NDS, NSS, etc.) to acquisition program requirements. The ITW/AA LPO isresponsible for the acquisitions side of the ITW/AA Weapon System (WS), the AN/USQ-249.This position will be responsible for decomposing requirements from source documents,validating current requirements, and advocating for future requirements. This position requiresknowledge of national strategy, defense strategy, missile and air warning, missile defense,COCOM and Service level processes, and requirements definition. Working knowledge of JCIDSand post JCIDS requirements processes is required.The ITW/AA RS will be required to perform the following duties and tasks:Decompose national strategy documents to define requirements for the ITW/AA enterprise.Capture legacy requirements across the AN/USQ-249 WS.Use existing forums and develop future forums as needed to define ITW/AA requirements.Inform future architecture efforts on evolving requirements.Maintain the Classified and Unclassified ITW/AA SE&I portals to facilitate information sharing.Required Experience, Knowledge, SkillsTop Secret Security Clearance required, with SCI eligibility.Bachelor's Degree required, with a graduate degree in a related field preferred.10 years of experience required in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 3 years must include missile warning domain experience.Deep knowledge of the requirements process at Service and Joint levels.Knowledge of CJCSI 5123.01 series and associated manual as well as JFRP process is required.Must reside within one hour of Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), CO.Strong self-motivator with the ability to work well independently and in a team.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Ability to follow through and complete HQ-level assignments/tasking with an emphasis on attention to detail and professional interaction with senior leaders.Computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.Desired Experience, Knowledge, SkillsExtensive background in missile warning operations with previous experience working in the NORAD-NORTHCOM Command Center preferredIn-depth understanding of ITW/AA change control managementIn-Depth understanding of Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) and Upgraded Early Warning Radars(UEWRs) operations and conceptsUnderstanding of the ITW/AA architecture and multitude of different systems and message formats utilized from the sensors, to the correlation centers, to the forward usersComputer proficiency, including Teams, SharePoint, Jira, and ConfluenceWork LocationWork performance primarily consists of telework. A government laptop will be provided toaccess necessary sites and data on Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET). Inaddition to telework, work will be performed at various temporary meeting locations at PSFBand other locations within the greater Colorado Springs, CO region. No permanent workspace isprovided.
