Summary
Senior Analyst
Background Support the FBI's Insider Threat Office (InTO) in protecting national security by detecting, deterring, and mitigating insider threats. As a Senior Analyst, you will lead advanced analysis projects, provide mentorship to analysts, and produce intelligence products that inform FBI decision-making and operational priorities. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-priority insider threat matters, integrating data from multiple sources to develop actionable intelligence, identify trends, and recommend solutions in a collaborative environment. Core Responsibilities
- Perform advanced analysis of insider threat data and develop actionable intelligence.
- Lead research efforts, define critical topics, and initiate comprehensive analytical projects.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, sharing best practices and expertise.
- Conduct quality control reviews of analytical products.
- Develop and project data trends, estimating probabilities based on current/past program conditions.
- Prepare detailed reports, correspondence, briefings, charts, and tables.
- Identify and assess the impacts of findings, making recommendations for corrective or preventive actions.
- Present briefings to government personnel and stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and other deliverables.
- Conduct massive data analysis using advanced query techniques and algorithms.
Minimum Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph at time of hire.
- Bachelor's degree (4 years of military or federal experience in a similar program may substitute).
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in administrative, analytical, and research functions related to national security or operational security.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Chrome, and intelligence analysis tools.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including briefing capabilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in insider threat detection and analysis.
- Background in security risk management.
