As a Construction Surveillance Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring and overseeing the construction activities at a data center facility to ensure compliance with security protocols, construction standards, and project specifications. You will work closely with the construction team, security personnel, and project managers to maintain the integrity and security of the site throughout the construction process.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct continuous surveillance of the construction site to ensure adherence to security protocols and construction standards.
• Monitor and control access to the construction site, ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
• Verify that construction activities comply with established plans, specifications, and security requirements.
• Identify and report any security breaches, safety violations, or non-compliance issues to the appropriate authorities.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Coordinate with construction managers, security personnel, and other stakeholders to address and resolve any security or compliance issues.
• Perform regular inspections of the construction site to ensure that all work meets quality and security standards.
• Provide regular updates and reports to project managers and other relevant parties on the status of construction activities and any identified issues.
• Ensure that all construction activities are conducted in a safe manner and in accordance with safety protocols.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required; must provide a valid U.S. Passport Book or Passport Card.
- 1 - 3 years of CST experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in construction management, security, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in construction surveillance, security, or a related field.
- Familiarity with data center construction processes and standards is a plus.
- Knowledge of security protocols and best practices in a construction environment.
- Strong observational and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using surveillance equipment and technology.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to handle and resolve conflicts and issues promptly.
- Understanding of safety and security protocols related to construction sites.
