Security Command Center Officer - Houston, TX 77042
$15.84/Hour | Thursday-Sunday | 40 Hours/Week
United Protective Services is seeking a professional and dependable Security Command Center Officer to support daily security operations in the Westchase area of Houston.
This is a computer-focused, customer service-driven security position for someone who is highly detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and confident communicating with clients and security personnel.
Schedule & Pay
Pay: $15.84 per hourHours: 40 hours per week
Schedule:
- Thursday: 3:00 PM-11:00 PM
- Friday: 3:00 PM-11:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
- Sunday: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
- Monitor security cameras, alarms, access-control systems, and other security technology
- Dispatch and communicate with security officers and site personnel
- Maintain professional communication with the client and provide timely updates regarding security activity and incidents
- Receive and respond to calls, radio communications, and security-related requests
- Accurately document incidents, activities, and important information
- Monitor and respond to alarms and security system notifications
- Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and records
- Follow established procedures and appropriately escalate incidents
- Communicate professionally with clients, employees, visitors, and security personnel
- Heavy customer service experience is required
- Strong computer proficiency is required
- Excellent attention to detail is required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain focused in a fast-paced environment
- Professional and confident communication with clients and security personnel
- Ability to learn and operate security systems, software, and technology
- Dispatch or Command Center experience is preferred
- Reliable attendance and professional appearance
