In this role you will get to be part of a talented and mission oriented professional team of federal engineers, active-duty Naval Officers and Contract staff who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get missile defense capability out to the Fleet. You will also be part of a team of some of the best and brightest Engineers and scientists our country has to offer.What You'll Be DoingDefining requirements and scopeIdentifying deliverables and dependenciesDrafting the statement of workContributing to the independent government cost estimateMay serve as on technical evaluation teamCoordinate and consolidate SM-3 reviews and feedback to contractor's proposalsExecute a continuous cycle of surveillance, documentation, and communication to ensure the government receives what it paid forReview contractor reports to assess project status, compare expenditures to work completed, and identify potential delaysActs as a liaison between the contractor's technical staff and the government, communicating all observations and findingsFinal inspection and acceptanceReconciliation of government furnished equipment (GFE)What Required Skills You'll BringUS citizenship with active secret clearanceBachelor's degree in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) or related field, or equivalent work experience that meets guidelines established for job5+ years of related professional experienceMastery of MS Office suite and familiarity with collaborative tools such as Jira, Confluence or TeamsWeapon system experienceWhat Desired Skills You'll BringBA/BS degree7+ years of experienceActive TS/SCI clearancePrior experience with weapons systems deploymentExperience with missile systemsTechnical experience in one of the following areas: fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis qualifications, etc.Security clearance requirement: An active secret security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
