To support a growing advocacy initiative, the part-time Advocacy Consultant will develop and execute a comprehensive federal and state policy agenda, strengthen advocacy infrastructure, and provide strategic support leading up to the 2027 Advocacy Summit, all while working remotely.Key responsibilitiesConduct a landscape analysis of federal legislation and develop a comprehensive federal policy agenda aligned with WomenHeart's missionSupport the development of a state advocacy strategy and mobilize WomenHeart's Champion network for state-level engagementAssess current advocacy infrastructure and recommend improvements, while providing ongoing strategic advisory support to WomenHeart leadershipRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree requiredExperience in advocacy or public policy at the federal and state levelsProven ability to cultivate relationships with policymakersExperience in developing advocacy tools and training materialsStrong understanding of women's health issues, particularly cardiovascular health
