What you will do
- Participate in the installation and replacement of stormwater inlets and other related stormwater structures.
- Perform concrete work, including forming and pouring curbs, sidewalks, and driveways for restoration.
- Operate power saws and other related equipment.
- Carefully plan and execute work to avoid damage to underground pipes and cables.
- Operate equipment for snow plowing and snow removal.

- Work is performed safely with no damage to underground utilities or surrounding infrastructure.
- Concrete restoration is clean, durable, and meets quality expectations.

REQUIRES:- High school graduation
- OR 6 months of experience in general labor.
- Must possess a valid State-issued driver's license in accordance with the City of KCMO policies.
- May be required to possess a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Class A, B or C issued by the State of Missouri prior to the end of the employee's probationary period (appropriate CDL will be determined by department.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and post-offer physical examination as prescribed by the City.

Positions requiring a high school diploma/GED certificate must be obtained from a school/program accredited by the Department of Education and recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education.
The minimum education requirement for positions that allow for experience equivalency for an accredited degree is a high school diploma. For positions with a salary grade of EX6 or higher that require an accredited degree, qualifying professional experience must be obtained AFTER the accredited degree is obtained.
