Full-time position available with the Water Department, Pipeline Division Pay Range: $20.88-$31.32 per hour
Work Location: 2409 E 18th St
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

What you'll do
- Enter payroll, process payroll corrections, file timecards, create timecard labels, and run audit reports to ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely employee compensation
- Advertise positions, contact applicants, prepare new employee packets, and train Administrative Assistant(s) to support hiring, onboarding, and team readiness
- File corrective and disciplinary actions, file ratings, track occurrences, and update MyCivic cases to maintain accurate employee records and accountability standards
- Track Drive-Cam activity, route logs, and boots inventory to monitor operational performance, safety, and asset management
- Manage consumer callbacks (where applicable) and coordinate MO DOT permits for pipeline repair contractors and KCMO Water permits to support service delivery and regulatory compliance
- Order supervisory and office supplies to ensure teams have the resources needed to operate efficiently

REQUIRES - An accredited Bachelor's degree; OR an equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience to include professional experience in the development and/or operation of administrative systems, programs, policies and practice.
